Hello folks! As some things are being fixed, we'll keep you updated. Per hour the Forum Rules don't have a dedicated "Tab", so here is the place that we have our Rules back. New Users Lounge > [READ] - InsanelyMac Forum Rules - The InsanelyMac Staff Team.

Taruga -- sigmatel 9274D -- wrong layout-id

Hello Taruga,

I've looked at the layout.xml files in your patched AppleHDA.kext directory and notice all but two have "SPDIF_IN" or "SPDIFIN" defined, such as layout12.xml which is the one used by taruga patcher 1.16 for sigmatel 9274D codec dump from ubuntu linux. (layout-id or LayoutID 12 == 0xc)

Badaxe2 motherboard does NOT have SPDIF input, it is spdif output ONLY.

I think a better layout might be layout6.xml or layout7.xml but I do not know how to properly change Info.plist, etc to properly reflect this.

This is from my tests tonight with EFI strings for audio.
