chosborne
I have a copy of OSX86 patched for AMD that I am trying to install on an HP latop. It's a dv6605us and has these specs: nVidia MCP67M / 7150 Video nvidia nForce 560 Chipset AMD TK-55 CPU Conexant HD-Audio Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN I am having a problem after I load up the installation. When it gets to the point where you select an install hard disk, there are no disks. Even in Disk Utility it only sees the install DVD. I assume this means it doesn't have the drivers for my hard disk controller or chipset overall. Question is, are there drivers for the nForce mobile chipsets? If so what do I need to do to get them working and OSX installed? Thanks

anarchpenguin
So there is no way to get OSX installed on this type laptop? I have it running on this laptop right now the dv6609wm. You have to use leo4all 4.1 and install to external hdd then you can move the drive internally just make sure to select the mcp67 support during install.
