AppleSlave
I have 2 partitions. One with Vista, and one with OSX. I ran the fdisk -u /dev/rdisk0 command via terminal in the install menu. This allowed me to boot OSX, but it has crippled my Vista install and I cannot boot into it. I can run the Vista DVD and repair the MBR to boot into Vista, but this will in return now allow me to boot into Leopard. What can I now do to be able to boot into both? When I try to boot into Vista it gives me an MBR error and asks to repair. I can boot into Leopard fine... I'm typing this from Leopard actually. Is there a boot disc with GRUB or something I can run to choose which OS I want to boot into, or what? Someone please give some insight!

IRONSLAVE
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 tells how to repair the MBR and some additional tips then you can download easyBCD to make a boot screen to boot into OSX Windows Vista uses a pain in the ass boot system that requires extra work and most boot loaders will not work with vista sad to say, vista has some bad flaws and this one is the most previlent one. bradsh
i did something like this : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=39253 I now load the vista bootloader which is the active partition, then load darwin bootloader, then have to manually select the OSX partition (because darwin automatically loads the active partition otherwise, which brings me back to the vista bootloader). It's a pain, but it works, and this is the only way I can maintain hibernation functionality in vista, which is more important to me than OSX
