roshie
Hi, I'm using JaS OSX86 w/ PPF2 and I installed it successfully and it can boot natively. However, I can only boot it if I have the installation DVD. I attempted to use the chain0 method, but it spits out a "Chain booting error" message. I tried forcing it to use Darwin bootloader, but it will just tell me "Error loading operating system". However, if I use the DVD I can boot Tiger just fine. Any tips? yusofu
Well, Looks like you install OSX using Apple or GUID. Can we reinstall? - but this time check partitioning option for MBR and not others. It's the GUID that makes it "must boot with the DVD". Cheers. torf
Where should I check MBR instead of Apple or GUID? In OS setup? Isnt there a way to change it in Terminal? I really dont like the idea of re-installing Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/82560-cant-boot-osx86/#findComment-759136 Share on other sites
