Have a native install without extra OS?

Want to get the vendor id and the device id to fix sound issues?

1 Get yourself a DOS 6.22 bootdisk

2 Download `PCIScope´ http://www.tssc.de/products/tools/pciscope/pcitool.htm#How to make a PCITool floppy://http://www.tssc.de/products/tools/p... PCITool floppy://http://www.tssc.de/products/tools/p... PCITool floppy://http://www.tssc.de/products/tools/p... PCITool floppy://http://www.tssc.de/products/tools/p... PCITool floppy://http://www.tssc.de/products/tools/p... PCITool floppy

3 Install pciscope on a winxp machine

4 Copy the 4 files needed for PCIScope under DOS as descriped on the link above

5 If your bootdisk doesnt have enough diskspace just delete the unnessary tools from it till you stripped the disk down to the nessary bootfiles

6 when booted from the disk on your native machine type: PCItools

and get the id's you need, write them down on a piece of paper.

Happy ID-ing
