jadedhalo
Ive loaded a native installed of OS X 10.4.3 patched with JaS 1111a Generic Patch v4.2b fully onto a 160G ATA Hard drive. When i try and boot, i get basically what says YoYo in ASCII and doesnt boot. I think this has something to do with the boot files being on a >LBA48 partition as this was a problem with Linux and FreeBSD back in the day. How could i fix this with the current install? At the moment i must boot using the install DVD so it can load the boot loader. Also, I'll be receiving a 300G SATA in a day or two which i'm going to reinstall OSX onto. What do i need to do to have it boot properly while being able to use the whole drive. The drive will be used for OSX only, not dual boot Windows/Linux so if i could get a darwin loader on there, it would be perfect. Thanks.
Azuraeus
if you can boot from the install DVD, try copying the boot files directly from the install dvd to your OS drive.
