hi, i have an ab9 quad gt. What i did was i installed 10.5.1 with kalyway disk and i selected vanilla kernel package. I also made it an MBR partition. I have a dual boot with windows XP via darwin bootloader. I did not edit any kexts or whatever in leopard. All i did was run the sound driver package, ethernet, and video. They are all fully working. Then i ran xbench.. i get about 170. Next i tested software updates... i updated and restarted succesfully. I can soft shut down and restart correctly. I did not do anything else but what is stated above..... Now wait.. that seemed way to easy. It runs smoothly to. Just to make sure im safe... Is there anything you could think of that could go wrong? Is it possible future apple software updates screw me over?

Basically what im asking is.. does it seem like i am in the clear? thanks

Here are my specs:

AB9 Quad GT

Core 2 duo OCED @3ghz

2gb ram

samsung 500gb hardrive (sata)

Sata DVD Drive

ATI x1900xtx

To me it seems like you have the perfect setup there my friend! Something many of us cant achieve. There is no guarantee that future apple updates wont break it though, the best way to find out is to do a search on here for a particular update your thinking of installing. Im sure someone on here will have posted something about it!
