Ive had a couple distros put my laptop to sleep (Acer Aspire 5610-4648) but it instantly wakes up. The bios is based of Phoenix but Acer watered it down alot.. there is no way to edit any power management features in it period. Ive tried using the Phoenix BIOS editor but thats way over my head.. Any advice? I love using OSx86 and i appreciate all the help everybody is contributing to this! But im a student and i use the laptop going class to class and the battery on it just wont handle a full day if i cant make it sleep when im not using it..
