zippod Posted January 12, 2008 Share Posted January 12, 2008 Everything works great with the Kalyway install except the darn printer. I have a Brother HL-2040 printer. Leopard recognizes the printer, but when I print, it prints out a blank page. When I look at the printer que, it says "printer paused" clicking Resume prints out another blank page. I tried reinstalling the printer drivers a few times with the same result. I even installed an older driver, but still doesn't work. Anyone experienced the same problem? real_sinjon Posted January 18, 2008 Share Posted January 18, 2008 I had a similar problem with a Brother MFC 7820N after installing Kalyway 10.5.1. I also tried installing the updated drivers from the Brother support page, still no good. However, I popped in my Leopard retail DVD and installed the Brother driver package via pacifist and now the printer works fine. Worth a try. JSn1™ Posted January 18, 2008 Share Posted January 18, 2008 I do not have kalyway but iAtkos. I got an HP printer, when I connect it, the printer utility from HP opens, but won't print anything.
