alvin777
Hi. Is there a way to make the hardisk boot (without the iAtkos DVD) by making the hardisk's active by embedding the boot flag without reformatting or repartitioninng? Is there any software that can do this while you're booted on iAtkos Leopard? Thanks in advance. I've read about using OSX86 Tiger Disk Utility to format/partition the drive and Gparted but what's wrong with iAtko's Leopard Disk Utility? Why doesn't it embed the boot flag to make it active by default? Which then has the better format/partitioning utility Gparted or OSX86 Tiger? Thanks in advance. feriso
Yes, download GParted LiveCD and boot off that and use it to set the boot flag on your desired partition. There's a webpage all about it so just google and read.
