anti_user Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 Hi to all users and developers! I have notebook Hewlett Packard HP530 and kallyway 10.5.1 Leopard installed system. I have trouble with vertical scrolling on Synaptics touchpad (there are 2 sensors - first sensor for mouse and second sensor for scrolling) second sensor works ok, but no as scrolling - i cannot thumb through pages with this. annunaki Posted August 24, 2008 Share Posted August 24, 2008 You can try this as it works for some folks... - Go to /System/Library/Extensions/ - Back up ApplePS2Controller.kext - Go to /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ - Delete ApplePS2Trackpad.kext - Reboot with -f (I had to do that to flush the old kexts) Your trackpad settings will now be under the mouse section. There is supposed to be another method by changing some text in ApplePS2Trackpad.kext, but I haven't seen anyone get it working except the guy who posted his solution. Hope this helps. Works for me!
