tayklor
Did you reformat the hard drive in disk utility and do you have an SSE2 or SSE3 CPU?

Ttiger9
I'm having the same issue. DVD image burned fine, Install seemed to go fine reported as successful. Installed Intel Kernel with SSE3. When I reboot I just get the blinking curser in the top corner. I have reinstalled after reformating the drive about 6 times now. I have tried Generic kernels as well with the same resualt. No matter what I change I get the same blinking cursor when I try to boot. I have JAS 10.4.8 downloading but If I can get the Uphuck to work that would be awesome. Sepcs are as noted(Dekstop non-retail): CPU: Intel D 805 (Smithfield) @2.66Ghz (SSE/2/3) Mbo: Asrock 775DUAL-VSTA Chipset: VIA P880PRO BIOS: AMI P1.80 Mem: Dual Channel Cosair 1Gb(512x2) DDR2 PC-5300 (333Mhz) HDD WD 80GB ATA133 Video: Nvidia GF 6600GT PCI-E Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
