This is really quick, simple and to the point. If you have a 30 second boot delay saying "Couldn't set up Diskarb sessions" then this is for you. Simply download the attached file, unzip it and put these kexts in /system/library/extensions/. you'll need an admin password. Then, delete extensions.kextcache and extensions.mkext and repair permissions.

 

NOTE: I will say this once and only once. I've tested this on my system, specs are in my sig. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! You stand a chance of not being able to boot again. Please, do this in a cautionary method. BACKUP YOUR PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF THE KEXTS. This is untested on AMD, I have no clue if it will work. The kernel I tested it on is Semthex 8.8.1, from the JaS 10.4.8 install. If anybody with an AMD feels like testing, feel free, but remember it's risky.
