Crown Delorean
Hi guys, After I saw a blog with instructions to change the boot image on an intel mac, I tried to do the same on my hackintosh, but there's no boot.efi file, and hacking BootX does not work. Dave Dribin's Bolog Does anybody know where is the boot image in OSX x86? --- Link Updated --- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/80711-changing-boot-image/ Share on other sites
aqua-mac
Link is not working for me. I think this is the LINK I am currently working on a ppc mac and I see both bootX and boot.efi in the System/Library/Core services folder on 10.5.1 Leopard. I will look later on my hack to see if they are there too. ~pcwiz
AFAIK all that page is selling is the image itself, not the boot changer app although it says (for $3 extra) it gives you instructions to change the image. It says that they are BMP files ready for any BootX Utility.
