cyclonefr
I'm not surprised it'll have G80/G92 since the beta drivers improved the performances a lot. Good news for us Geforce 8xxx users And maybe some "official ICH9 support ?" Even though that won't change anything I guess since AppleACHI or IOATAfamily is universal for any ICHx... Synaesthesia
Very cool! 8-cores as standard They also have 2 gigs RAM and a 2600XT as standard now, with options for an 8800GT or QuadroFX 5600. I'm interested to see what the new prices are, but at the moment the Apple Store is down as it's being updated. edit: Oh, I see the price for that base setup will be $2799

cyclonefr
Probably won't change anything than natit, though would be nicer cosmetic-wise And you can use any gfx-string from geforce 7xxx on geforce 8xxx, it'll work
nagal
Interesting you can now buy a MacPro with only a single processor and it gets a base memory of 2GB.

Did you use a string from the 8600? So it didn't make any difference to the performance. I've sent you a PM. I would like to get a copy of the string you are using. Thanks.
