I did it!

I just installed JaS OS 10.4.8 w/ SSE2/SSE3 for AMD & Intel.

Intel 6600 Core 2 Duo

Asus P5B

4 Hard Drives

DVD-RW on JMicron as IDE device.

Everything is perfect apart from:

I can't connect to the internet; the Ethernet port does not appear on System Preferences/Network/Network Ports

SATA 0, SATA 1 works

SATA 4, SATA 5 doesn't (SATA 2, SATA 3 ports on the board are not available anyway)

Is there a howto patch guide?

Is there a guide for the Terminal commands?

I have BrazilMac patch but I don't know how to install the kexts.

Exceptional performance though. I've never seen Mac OS X running faster or smoother.

C'mon! Make me an even happier guy! ;)

P.S.: To you future users out there: install using ONLY an internal SATA optical drive on SATA 0 or SATA 1

EDITED:

OK! I've found this thread VERY usefull:

Users with the same SATA problem should definitely check the aforementioned thread.

Use Kalyways Leopard Release. It will fix everything - not sure about network...
