Hey, Im still a noob, so please be have patience with me and help. I have the tiger-x86-flat image and it can be copied to a partition and booted. How do I do that. I have made a partitione for os X. It is a 12gb fat32 partition. After using the dd bs=1048576 if=./tiger-x86-flat.img of=F (F: is my partition) i get a 6gb file called F in the folder where I got the Image. What to do?

:D I have tried Leopard but it freeze when I erase my partition. So I thougth that I could install this and then update to 10.4.10 and even Leopard later on. I have a AMD turion 64 x2 1,6 ghz, 1gb ram and 120 gb harddisk.

You can't upgrade 10.4.1. You'd have to do a complete reinstall of 10.4.4 or higher if you ever wanted to upgrade.

Jas 10.4.8 loads very fast but when the installer comes there is no were to install osx and under disk utility there is only the jas dvd and not a harddisk.

Do you know any other god version that runs on amd turion64 x2 with sata harddisk and 1gb ram?
