Jurryt Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Hi there, I´ve been working on my PC mac for quite a while, but figured out I prefer have a PC laptop (apple desktop). Now since my laptop is Uphuck 10.4.9 I wanted to know how to uninstall it and install windows again. Since the discs are partitionate for mac, not PC. urgonah8me Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 just set the bios to boot from disc and put your windows disc in delete the partition and format over it with the windows NTFS format option (or fat32 if its an older disc) and windows will re install like normal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jurryt Posted January 3, 2008 Author Share Posted January 3, 2008 then it says 'can't find any windows discs' or something like that, since I had to change the disc format to Mac. tayshun12 Posted February 16, 2008 Share Posted February 16, 2008 you have to run the disc then go to repair . open up the command then type "diskpart" without quotes type "list disk" and select your drive with "select disk #" type "list partition" and your mac partition should show up there type "select partition #" then "delete partition" hopefully that will clear up your harddrive of mac and leave the space as unallocated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
