cbm64
Hi guys, Something that raised an eyebrow today as I got my Macbook (black, build jan07) back from repairs. I was troubled with a flickering screen ( irregular brightness variations of the screen) which is usually caused by a faulty inverter. But not according to the service center here in the Netherlands. They spotted refit installed and blamed it for causing the flickering. I asked them for a reverence as it is always easy to make a bold statement. As I'm waiting for replies, does anyone ever hear of these symptoms in relation with refit as I find nothing on the net. regards, Martijn
Tek
I've been using rEFIt for months on my MacBook Pro (Santa Rosa) and have not had any problems yet. I find it disturbing that they would blame rEFIt for it, but you know some service centres... anything non-standard will be blamed when things don't run properly.
