~pcwiz
I downloaded iATKOS v1.0i from er...a place where the stones are always broken. In the comments section it said that the MD5 didn't verify, but it still worked perfectly fine. So I downloaded the ISO anyway and downloaded and applied the R2 PPF. As I thought, the MD5 didn't verify to the one posted on the site. Could the ISO still be OK?
GingerTea
What's your exact md5? If it's not the exact md5 as mentioned, then it is probably broken. But if the BrokenStones discription says that it's fine, then it might be, I don't know. This is the md5 for my iatkos image, which I patched with the R2 PPF: Hackintosh:~ zen$ md5 /Volumes/BlackHole/Images/iATKOS_v1.0i.r2.iso MD5 = 7c63eed3dfb5d17256fc5fd3a16efed1
~pcwiz
Hmm...yeah that would really suck if the image I DLed for 2 days turned out to be broken. But in BrokenStones it says its OK so I'm going to give it a shot before losing hope. I'm just going to boot this image in my current computer and see if it boots. EDIT: Crud. I booted the disc (with R2 PPF) and it comes to the screen and says: Press any key to install Mac OS X So I press a key and it brings up the same message. Tried to boot it in VMware, same message. Oh well I guess I'll give it a try on my new hackintosh once I order the parts but if it doesn't work that will be very sad
