buzzfgo
This was driving me crazy. I then typed cpus=1 and it booted fine. Runs great now..... but my cpu is a t7200 core two duo. Why is only one core working. Running on a dell i1705 with a 7900gs video card. I think I read somewhere that it might be something in my bios that I can not change anyway. Can anyone confirm?Forgot to add.... I'm using the new kalyway DVD.... 10.5.1Great work btw. robcad
I have exactly the same problem on a Dell D820. Booting with -v stops at BSDROOT: disk0s1, major 14, minor 1 then after a brief synching of disk it just reboots. Can only complete the boot process with CPUS=1. So no sleep trick for me to wake up the second CPU... I have tried many solutions but none work. Pissed off....
