Gray Screen of Death on boot

Hello,

 

I've installed OSX 10.4.8 JaS fine, but when I rebooted I got the gray screen of death. I did -v and got "still waiting for root device".

 

My system:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Socket 939

Asus A8N-32SLi Deluxe With NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI 32

250GB sata seagate drive with 2 HSF+ partitions

Edit: I got it to work, I just switched to the Sil SATA controler, and it's working now.
