ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure.

ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure.

i didn't prepare my hd for osx... there are 2 linux partition... is it ok? I think osx will give me the opportunity to format it right? what's wrong in my system?

thanx in advance

OSX will NOT run on a ext partition. You need to format it HFS+. Boot to the DVD and go to utilities and go to disk utility and find your HD. PArtition it with MBR or GUID partiton scheme depending on which one you want to try. I think TOH only works with MBR not sure. Anyway once that is done try the install again and you should get some better results.

When you first boot either the DVD or into your install for the first time hit f8 and type -v (verbose mode) and -x (safemode). Then you can see where you get errors and post back those errors.

Hope that helps

Good Luck
