Laik
Hello, I'm making a patch called Virginizer and want to know several things about OS X internal structure to finish it. 1. Where are user defaults located? When you create a new user, its created with specific defaults. I need to know how can i edit the files that go to ~/Library/Preferences/ of a new user when he is created. 2. Where is wallpaper cache? For example, if you set your wallpaper to Aurora.jpg, and then delete the file, the wallpaper will stay even after reboot. Considering the file is not in place, system must be loading it from some cache. Thank you
macgirl
Never heard about wallpaper cache but: There are tools for erasing caches, either user or system. caches are located in /System/Library/Caches/ /Library/Caches/ ~/Library/Caches/ Preferences in /Library/Preferences/ ~/Library/Preferences/ ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/
