KroeT
Whenever I try to enable SMB file sharing, the Finder hangs. I can use Exposé to switch between programs, but I can't use the menu bar at the top, or the dock. In some cases, my keyboard stops functioning as well. I have a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R, Core2Duo E6750 at stock speeds, 4 GB RAM, and I've installed the flat image 10.5.0 (based on Brazilmac I think). Everything runs smoothly, and I'm in love, but I would like to use filesharing. Is this a known issue? Update: it only happens when I try to select a folder to share. All other options in the file sharing screen work rather nicely, but not being able to select a folder I can hardly share anything...

KroeT
And one more (last) kick. I'd really appreciate some input, I'll reinstall if I don't get any
KroeT
Reinstalled, used Kalyway 10.5.1, Vanilla kernel, and it works perfectly now. Sooo, problem solved - the hard way
