wierd usb issue ich7

this is a wierd issue thats been plagueing me since 10.4.10 which is the first osx86 that i tried. im on iatkos now (sleep works for first time ever) and problem presists.

 

my usb turns on at computer boot sometimes. and sometimes it doesnt. i can give any info needed. but i can say its on a ich7. any drivers/edits that i can do to try and get it working? any kextload?

 

and im on an acer laptop

noticed in -v when the usb doesnt work there is something like this

USBF: 8941.518 AppleUSBEHCI[0x85d6000]::Found a transaction which hasn't moved in 5 seconds on bus 0xfd, timing out!

written. i dont have anything plugged into usb except the built in acer webcam.

bump, guys this is really vital and annoying since my only internet access is through usb wifi. my ethernet nor integrated wifi doesn't work. i even bought a dell 1490 but it doesnt even work.

not that it will really help you, but i sometimes got the same problem on my pw5. occassionally the same error messages in log and a not-working mouse. (the keyboard does still work then - and its plugged into the same onboard controller). this does happen every few boots and i have to hard-reset the computer to make it work again. somewhat annoying when it happens but since i cannot really reproduce it i think its hard to fix it..
