GooBacks
Ok, i have posted my problems in the amd dvd section but i don't get any real help from it, so if you are experienced with the amd install of leopard please help me. Ok here's my preoblem, whenever i boot up the dvd to install (same problem with every version of x86 i've gotten) i get a ton of errors involving my usb ports (see pic below) and my usb keyboard and mouse that are plugged in turn off (they have LED's in them) and when i get to the select language screen nothing works...my computer specs are in my sig, if you need anymore info about my setup please ask. _:_M-F-D-K_:_
When i am trying to install from the dvd. Thats quite strange mate, i mean i only get the exact problem when playing around with graphics card kext drivers, and I just do a repair permission and it fixes but yours hmm....one thing i could think of is the dvd disk could have not been properly burned, to be 100% sure you should burn it at 2x speed, i had problems with DVDs disk actually not being burned properly even though it says sucessful burn. Ongeloof
I have an AMD 3000+ CPU and have to install vista, then VMWare, then 10.4.8 through VMWare, until it needs to reboot, then i force reboot... when i have set Tiger up, i boot from (32 bits) AMD Leo, and upgrade, it works OK until you see "2 minutes to go" and it freezes, then i just wait 3 seconds and force reboot again...it works... maybe you should try that...but when you reboot from leo, and boot into the HDD, remember you gonna get lots of code from about a minute then you will see leo...it quiet scary the first time...Sh*t me up... hope thius help, if you want more in depth stuff on this PM me.. i think i must be good if i can get it working on old rigz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77128-someone-who-is-experienced-with-the-amd-install-look-here/#findComment-548450 Share on other sites

wigworm
So you can not install because your USB keyboard and mouse are not recognized. Is that your problem? Use a PS/2 keyboard then! GooBacks
Those don't work either, i've tried PS/2 combo, usb combo, and mixing them...nothing Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77128-someone-who-is-experienced-with-the-amd-install-look-here/#findComment-567871 Share on other sites
wigworm
I have the solution for you: disable your USB keyboard/mouse in bios. Report back if it works for you.
