Spikey
Hi All, First off want to say thanks to everyone here. You all rock. Now on to business :censored2: I have been trying to get the new 10.5 working on my AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Supports SSE3) (Specs) AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Supports SSE3) K8N Neo Platinum Nvidia Nforce3 250GB chipset ATI Radeon 9800Pro 80Gig Maxtor Hard Drive (Used gparted and formatted/parted the disk to HFS+) I have the new ToH CD and burned it on 1x speed. The system boots into Darwyn and starts loading a bunch of stuff and then stops at this point: BSD Root disk1s3, major 14, minor 4 Jettisoning kernel Linker unknown SIGSEGV code 0 Then reboots. What could the problem be?? Thanks for all your help Cheers, Spikey.

Top`
Same problem; I really have no OS on my computer, because I didn't know this Mac OS X had flaws! Grr. Save us!
Sp4Rx
I got the release working perfectly, installed it and booted it with DVD. If it doesn't boot, try booting it from the DVD, meaning leave the DVD in, and boot from DVD drive, then when the option comes up "Do you want to install Mac OS X, or enter startup option press f8". This message will appear, don't press anything, let it load.
