help with a geforce 6200 agp 256mb card

im trying to install in a bfg 6200 agp 256mb card. i got osx to boot. i don't know how but it did. when i go to system profiler it reads it as a generic card without qe/ci. i've read in the forum that titan will allow my card to have full support. the problem is that whenever i add my device id to titan.kext and do the chmod and chown commands and restart i get the kernel panic. im currently on 10.4.10 and using 8.8.1 kernel.
