Numberzz
Recently, I spilled a bit of water on the top part of my keyboard. Is there anything I can do about this? What do you think is broken?

Numberzz
Damn that sucks, do you have Applecare? Duh I have AppleCare. Who wouldn't get AppleCare for a $3800 computer? But I don't want to send it in for weeks, and I don't want it to become PART OF THE SYSTEM.
apowerr
PART OF THE SYSTEM. My advice would be to thank god for 9/11 outside of a Mac repair store, as seen here: =)
KaiNeR
you might aswell use the applecare if your paying for it
rob356
ZOMG!!! YOU KILLED THE KEYBOARD, IT IS GONE FOR GOOD!!! No, it really isn't, bring it to an apple store and see if they can do anything, if not bite the bullet and send it in. All they have to do is replace a few LED backlights. But if no backlight doesn't bother you, then don't bother. But yeah, why pay for applecare if you never want to use it?
Boot Camp
bite the bullet - rob356 That line gets me every time for some reason I'd bring it to the apple store to see what they can do.

Berzerker
If it's just water, turn it off and let it sit for 1 - 1 1/2 days.

shishnit
Try burring it in rice, it will suck any water out, and if that doesn't work, applecare.
Soündless
applecare wont cover that, if it is your fault, they will make you pay.
Numberzz
So Numberzz, how did you solve the problem in the end? I put "yes" into Terminal and let it sit for about 3 hours. Now it works, not fully, but it looks better.
