perrohunter Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 Hi I have a Dell inspiron e1405 , with 10.4.8 JaS After I finished the install , I got to the nice startup video, then it asked me to choose wifi , I did , then everythig find , as soon as I got to the desktop i found out that the wireless icon said the airport was not configured even so , i could go online, but suddenly, it stopped working, i Restarted, however it didnt come back =( I dont know what to do the wirless is a Dell 1390 b/g , I can't seem to find the driver since everybody says it is detected, well it was detected for a few minutes, what can I do ? I found a guy with a similar problem. on this forum , and the general guide for dells on this topic:http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=15474&hl=1390 says it works fine, but it doesnt Does anyone has a working dell e1405 or the wireless card 1390b/g ??? Zitro Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 I had the same problem, physically removes the card and now proceed to install the DVD JAS, the necessary patches applied before placing the card again. to restart mac os, the card will be recognized as AirPort.
