  • Northbridge: Intel G33

  • Southbridge: ICH9R

Memory: 3GB PC2-5300 MB/sec

Hard drive: Hitachi 440 GB SATA 3G (3.0 Gb/sec) 7200 RPM

Optical Drive: 16X DVD(+/-)R/RW 12X RAM (+/-)R DL LightScribe SATA drive

Modem: 56K bps data/fax modem

Video Graphics: Intel GMA 3100

Sound/Audio: Realtek ALC 888S chipset

Network (LAN): Integrated 10/100/1000 Base-T networking interface

I have the ToH Leopard dvd and tried installing onto this machine. After several "unable to get root device" errors, i finally managed to get to the installer only to find that I could not use the free space I had created in Windows to create a new paritition. So I went back into Windows and formatted the partition (30GB) as Fat32 and came back to the installer and the installer said it could not copy the files to the specified partition. It can see the drive cleanly but unable to copy files.

Can someone guide me through the installation. Maybe this is not the right version of leopard for this machine?
