Talek Posted December 4, 2007 Share Posted December 4, 2007 I have a dell 600m with the intel 2200bg wireless card in it, and while it is possible to get basic functionality enabled, it is unusable with the current software avaliable. It's unfortunate, and it doesn't seem likely that it will change any time soon. I ended up just purchasing a generic broadcom BCM4306 card on ebay (virtually any other 43** card will work as well) for like $15 shipped. You have to edit the device id's in the io80211 package for it to recognize, but it detects and functions as an apple installed airport card. In windows I had to download the dell drivers for their 1400 series cards which use the bcm4306 chip. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
