foodfightr
1. I installed LEOPARD from Zepyroth's AMD Disk. 2. I booted from the dvd and ran -s to get to terminal. I typed in: fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 (There is only hard drive, SATA.)update f 2 (The disk utility shows my installation as the 2 partiton.) w q reboot Now I'm getting a b0 error when I attempt to boot from the hard drive. foodfightr
Hmmm.... when I load up the installer disc and go to disk utility it shows the install partition as 2. When I go to terminal and type: fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 print It shows that the data is written to partition 1. So if I typed: f 1 w q Now when I try to boot I just get a blinking "_" I need to get it working with this SATA drive! For this entire thread I've only had the one SATA drive connected. As a side note, I was able to get this installation working 100% from an IDE hard drive. It "just worked" without any need for fdisk, etc.
