Streety
When I try to install Mac OS X 10.4.8 everything goes brilliantly until it tells me to choose which disk to install it on. When this happens there isn't any disk to choose. If someone could help thaat would be great seeing as I'm kinda newbie . The drive had the FAT32 file system as well. I use an Acer Aspire 3610 laptop if that helps at all. Thanks If you need anymore information just ask. EDIT: Sorry if this has been mentioned like a million times before hehe
4ny0n3
you must use disk utility to prepare a partition to install OSX on... you can find disk utility in the utility section in the upper bar
Streety
There is a problem with that, when I try it it says it will delete everything on my HD. I already have XP installed and don't want to delete + all My Documents.. Is there any other way?
rob356
the safest way I know of is to get a whole new harddrive, that is almost foolproof, there is about a 0.3% of lost data that way.
