PolyPill
I'm trying to install ToH Leopard RC2 and when I boot the dvd it runs through a bunch of stuff and eventually hangs after switching resolutions and printing out: MAC Framework successfully initialized using 15728 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers I think it might be the video card but I have no clue. Video Card: ATI RX2600Pro PCI-Express Motherboard: Asus P5B
dreamer81
I am also having this problem.... And I know a lot of other people have the problem, but I haven't seen the answer one single place
PolyPill
eh, forget this, after I realized windows would blue screen when I tried to install it I figured something was really wrong with the hardware. I eventually fixed it by just doing a "load defaults" in the bios. I had updated the bios before doing all this and I just assumed after an update the defaults were loaded but I guess not. Biohead
I've downhgraded my mobo BIOS and its working fine now. I was stuck in exactly the same place as you. Mobo was ASRock ConRoe-1333-D667 R1.0 My problem now is Radeon HD2400XT only displays at 1024x768, when I use 1280x768.
dreamer81
I dont mind changing settings in the BIOS, but i am not too excited about up/downgrading the bios. My mobo is a p35, maybe it's too new for os x?
