Hey nessant!

Are you also using the 775dual-vsta?

1) Which bios are you using ? newest 3.00

2) Do you have PATA or SATA HDD ? I've always had problems with my sata drive back in tiger. so i decided to install leo on my older pata drive. not as fast but stable!

3) Do you have PATA or SATA DVD ? my DVD drives are all PATA

4) Are you using EFI? (which version?) Using the standard EFI that comes with kalyway 10.5.1...

5) Are you using MBR or GUID ? MBR...never tried GUID

6) How did you set bios in CPU Configuration (MAX CPU ID, ecc. ecc.) ? hm...I didn't mess around with the cpu settings...I don't think it makes big of a difference...

7) Are you using Vanilla Kernel or SSE2 Kernel ? Vanilla is not possible on the 775dual-vsta because of it's VIA Chipset. but no need to take the sse2 version since i've got e6400 CPU

But the main Problem: Network is unstable...also tried realtek pci...same problem...drives me nuts.

hope that helps

cheers

Alrighty, I know I promised for a long time that the new version would come, but it has been delayed numerous times. Well it is finally here. Every time I thought I was about done there would be something new come up, and not the time needed to fix it.

Version 4 is for Kalyway 10.5.1. Boots with SATA support. Needs no post-patching. Gets network, sound, and SATA all working on the installed OS.

Sorry for the delay. I urge everybody to upgrade. As I knew when I released 3.0, it was a really crappy setup with the post-patch and everything. This is clean and smooth, the way 1 and 2 were; definitely a lot better.
