Spazbeast
Hello all, I was wondering if this set of specs could rum OSx86, either Tiger or Leopard I am upgrading it to 2-3 gigs of ram. Which release should I use? I'm thinking TubGirl, because that developer is the most AMD friendly that I have seen. Thanks for any help. P.S. I have no information on the Motherboard type. I don't know if it is an nforce4 or not. dv2615nr Processor AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Processor Speed 1.9GHz Display Type WXGA high-definition widescreen with BrightView technology (1280 x 800) Screen Size 14.1" System Bus 1600MHz Cache Memory 512KB + 512KB at die Level 2 System Memory (RAM) 1GB System Memory (RAM) Expandable To 4GB Type of Memory (RAM) DDR2 Hard Drive Type Serial ATA (5400 rpm) Hard Drive Size 160GB Optical Drive Double-layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Optical Drive Speeds Drive speeds not specified Direct-Disc Labeling Yes Digital Media Reader or Slots Yes, digital media card reader Diskette Drive No Graphics NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M (UMA) Video Memory Up to 287MB

evanrodge
Save yourself the frustration. HP AMD laptops are about as incompatible as they come. I had a DV6000z laptop (which was almost the same as yours except with a 15.4in screen) and I tried for a solid month to get OS X to run. Needless to say I sold the damn thing and bought a powerbook.
