The new semester of school is starting, and I'm clean wiping my laptop again because of 10.4.3. It just doesn't work well on my C640. It crashes all the time, I don't have wireless, the list goes on. 10.4.1 was so stable, so beautiful. I like to use OS X86 on my laptop for school work because it's a lot cleaner for that.

I'm assuming that Apple will start compiling all their stuff as unibin. I own a real Macintosh, so I can probably just run system update on that and grab all the updated programs I need. Sure I won't have Quartz Extreme, but I didn't have it 10.4.3 anyway.

Is anyone else sticking with 10.4.1 as their primary operating system?

Ya, I'm with you. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 6000 and 10.4.3 doesn't quite cut it for me. I couldn't get wireless to work on either on, but I got Jas' ATI Kext to install on 10.4.1 and not 10.4.3. I am really looking forward getting my grubby hands on a copy of 10.4.4 and see what it can do though.
