Ultimatebadass
I've had a similar problem with my osx installation once. It just would not boot on battery, I think it had something to do with the kernel I selected back then - I used AMD instead of universal from the uphuck 10.4.9 1.3 dvd - so maybe you should check out a different one. That's just a shot in the dark though, I've never used it with vmware either. PS. I also ran it on a AMD based laptop (with SiS chipsets). mus
I have the same problem. Installed 10.4.6 JaS (.8 didn't work for me). Booting gets stuck at the grey apple-screen with the spinning thing. -v says "still waiting for root device", I tried everything from the FAQ (rd=disk0s1, -x etc.), but it still doesn't work. AMD 3200+ (SSE2) MSI K8N Neo4 GeForce 7800 GTX Harddrive is IDE Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69639-still-waiting-for-root-device/#findComment-495776 Share on other sites
