Compatability Tests

Hey,

I've just tested a system for x86 Mac OS X 10.4.3, and I am in the process of testing another one.

 

Test Subject 1:

Brand: Toshiba Satelite

Model: 1415-S173

Specs:

- Intel Celeron 1.73 GHZ Mobile Processor

- 15 Inch LCD TFT Display

- 30 GB Toshiba HDD

- DVD ROM/CD-RW

- NVIDIA GeForce 420

- 256 MB RAM

STATUS: FAILED

 

 

Test Subject 2:

Brand: Compaq Presario

Model: SR1250 NX

Specs:

- 515 Pentium 4 2.8 GHZ Processor

- 1 GB DDR SDRam

- 160 GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA HDD

- Dual Layered DVD +- RW/CD-RW

STATUS: UNDER SCRUITINY

 

Okay, I will just lable the Compaq as a failure for a native install, because it just kept rebooting after showing me the mac logo on the install screen.
