Ayanami
So, I was in Hot Topic today, just browsing around a nearby mall. Actually, it was a newer Hot Topic, and I was watching a preview of the Avenged Sevenfold DVD. Anyway, there was this emo kid on the other side of the CD rack with his girlfriend, and spotted the new Coheed & Cambria CD. And his reaction was: "OOooo....Look at this! I have to go get mommy." I mean, 16/17 year old dude. I couldn't contain myself, and had to leave. Even though they had a vinyl copy of Year Zero there...
Special-K
I can't stand Hot Topic. Like I used to shop there and all, back when it was considered moral or cool to shop there, for lack of better terms. Now that all the emo kids shop there, I refuse to go in. And now hearing this...What has happened to our society? Notably the youth. True that the guy probably had no money, but I wouldn't go to my mom for money. Especially in front of my girlfriend. I'd either steal it, or download it. Or just sell some stuff so that I could buy the CD if I wanted the physical copy that bad. Although that vinyl copy of Year Zero is kinda tempting to buy....
