Is it because they're all designed for mac hardwares so we don't need them for non-mac machines? Do we need to retrieve those unchecked items after a successful installation? How to? They were removed so that the Leopard disc would fit onto a Single Layer DVD. You could install them if you know that the disc you are using contains them, but as of now most os x86 patched DVDs are of the single layer variety.
