With some folks saying how 10.5 performs snappy on 867 to 1 GHz G4s, PowerPC will still be at the heart of Apples development of OS X in the future. i highly doubt PowerPCs will be supported in the next update of OS X. Steve said a while ago that PPC is a thing of the past, primitive and will slow apple down if they keep developing for both platforms.
