Well, I was trying to install Mac OSx86 natively on my SATA2 disk 160GB but at the end of installation it tells me to reboot because an error occured in writing some italian files. That the error:

BomFileError 22: Invalid argument - /Volumes/Mac OS X/System/Library/Contextual Menu Items/AutomatorCMM.plugin/Contents

Install Failed: Some documents for the Italian Language could not be written correctly.

What suold I do?? Maybe try with the English??

I have four version of Mac...i've to try with all of them...i've just tryed two of them and there's always an error who stops the installation. I've tryed to install in english but an error tells me that some files of essential may not have been written correctly. The version I have tryed is:

JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich7-R.patch.Integrated

I have also:

OSX_1048_AMD

one version of 10.4.7 (without specification or anything else)

10.4 (think it's very old)

Anyway for me the first one and the second are the most complete (with packages, pachtes and so on) but i don't manage to install!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your help.

Get Uphuck v1.3 (not the newer versions, they won't have multi-language support), I see no reason why that shouldn't work. But you do realise there is no support for 8400 cards currently right? - So don't expect CI/QE to work.

Doesn't matter the language, I understand english almost perfectly. I just want that damned OS to install. And there are the drivers for the 8800 dunno if they're ok also for 8400. Anyway I'd rather look for these drivers all over the world than not to install Mac at all. What should I do then? Do you have any idea of the causes of this problem? How do I have to search for this specific DVD (I mean the description)?

I thank you for your support.

There are no drivers for 8400 cards currently, 8800 is the only GeForce 8 Series card that works "properly" with Mac at the moment. You can use your card, just without hardware acceleration, so no games, 3D apps etc.

And as for the DVD, google is your friend.
