Howerver, when i tried using XxX OS x86 10.4.10, after installation all i get is a black screen ... I left it on for 8 hours and no response? Does anyone know of a solution. Please get back to me as im really anctious to know what happend. Thanks for the thanks; but what do you mean by 'the keywords don't match'? . . the link I provided is to 4 pages of hits to 'black screen' . . the one diagnostic you choose to provide. Konami® Posted October 17, 2007 Share Posted October 17, 2007 the black screen is related to disk utility that does not format correctly the disk, there is a trick that works for me, you need to have jas 10.4.8 disk, boot jas, go to disk utility and format the disk then restart and put the xxx 10.4.10 disk and install, work like a dream for me! bguran Posted October 17, 2007 Share Posted October 17, 2007 I had the same problem but it turned out all I had to do was reduce the graphics aperture to minimum in my computers setup advanced screen. From what I´ve seen here black screen seems to be a videocard related problem so my first step would be to check out you have the right one for 10.4.10.
