NickBeswick
Hi I've installed OSx86 on my Sony Vaio VGN-C1Z. All went well upto the point I boot into the the OS. I hear music and and then a guy telling me about "voice over quick start" but the screen is totally blank. I presume I have a problem with the video drivers ?? Can anyone help ? Do I need to start with a particular option or do I need to install the macvidia drivers ? The OS reports on bootup that the card is a Nvidia Geforce Go 7400. zanky
Check out http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=65316&st=0 I have the same issue on Linux with Nvidia's proprietary drivers, and the solution is to edit the xorg.conf file adding Option "ModeValidation" "NoVertRefreshCheck" to the Device section. I'm guessing the nvidia drivers are ported from a hacked version of the nvidia Freebsd drivers? Maybe?
