Fullscreen or Widescreen?

Widescreen all the way.

Having the resolution for the full page horizontally and still having space for tool palettes is much more practical than messing with floating tool palettes over the page.

Oh yeah. I think modern OS's should move their menubar/dock/taskbar/whatever to the left or right side of the screen, position vertically. This leaves a lot more screen real estate available.

I personally prefer widescreen but I won't go insane if I am forced to watch dvds in fullscreen. Widescreen is standard anyways and you should watch dvds in widescreen if you want to see the movie exactly as it was seen in the cinemas.

Also when it comes to managing windows, they are easier to manage in widescreen than in fullscreen. However, i do find reading or writing is more comfortable in fullscreen.
