zosimo
Hi, I've encountered a problem with installing 10.4.10 (the HOTiSO release) DVD to VMWare. I mount the ISO with Deamon Tools, and config VMWare to make it boot with this virtual CD first before HDD or removable devices. But the VMWare doesnt regconize the ISO that mounted at all. Even I tried to press ESC to boot from the CD. Then I try other virtual CD software such as Alcohol 120%, UltraISO etc,. but it didnt help. I try everything i could think of. Install Macdrive 7 and Windows Explorer read the mounted DVD flawlessly but VMWare still doesnt boot with this DVD. My VMWare virtual machine config: config.version = "8" virtualHW.version = "6" scsi0.present = "FALSE" memsize = "512" ide0:0.present = "TRUE" ide0:0.fileName = "Other.vmdk" ide1:0.present = "TRUE" ide1:0.fileName = "F:" ide1:0.deviceType = "cdrom-raw" floppy0.autodetect = "TRUE" ethernet0.present = "TRUE" ethernet0.connectionType = "nat" ethernet0.wakeOnPcktRcv = "FALSE" ethernet0.virtualDev="e1000" sound.present = "TRUE" sound.fileName = "-1" sound.autodetect = "TRUE" svga.autodetect = "TRUE" pciBridge0.present = "TRUE" mks.keyboardFilter = "allow" displayName = "Mac.OS.X.Tiger.10.4.10.X86" guestOS = "darwin" nvram = "Other.nvram" deploymentPlatform = "windows" virtualHW.productCompatibility = "hosted" tools.upgrade.policy = "useGlobal" floppy0.present = "FALSE" paevm = "TRUE" isolation.tools.hgfs.disable = "TRUE" ethernet0.addressType = "generated" uuid.location = "56 4d 8f a4 5e bd 48 9d-12 29 fa 12 4c 3c bc 5f" uuid.bios = "56 4d 8f a4 5e bd 48 9d-12 29 fa 12 4c 3c bc 5f" ide0:0.redo = "" pciBridge0.pciSlotNumber = "17" ethernet0.pciSlotNumber = "32" sound.pciSlotNumber = "33" ethernet0.generatedAddress = "00:0c:29:3c:bc:5f" ethernet0.generatedAddressOffset = "0" extendedConfigFile = "Other.vmxf" Anybody tried with this Mac.OS.X.Tiger.10.4.10.X86-HOTiSO yet ?
