uria702
I have tried the uphuck 10.4.9 with no success, I am running a sony vaio fz140e using centrino duo t7100 1.8 ghz, 2 gb ram, 200 gig sata hd, intel 965 chipset and intel x3100 medial accelerator, the install did go smoothly, but it doesnt seem like it is going to boot regardless of what i try. Are there any alternative methods to install that have worked with the intel 965 chipset or is this completely out of the question? are there any install methods that have worked previously on the 965 chipsets? Please let me know i appreciate all your help! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65397-os-x-on-intel-965-chipset/ Share on other sites

BJMoose
I think there's more of a problem with your x3100 gfx than the 965 chipset. While the 965 isn't the most compatible, I installed OSX86 on a Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 with very little difficulty. Finding drivers for your gfx card is doubtful.
